Why The TrimFIT Mosaic Just Works
Once in a blue moon, you find something so close to perfection, you begin to question everything else that exists. Your inherited pessimism vanishes in the face of overwhelming positivity, and as you struggle to find fault with the masterpiece, you find yourself secretly grinning in contentment.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Porsche 911, the iPhone 4, the Swiss Army Knife, the Concorde, the true French croissant, that exquisitely brewed morning espresso.
And this TrimFIT Mosaic FKM Rubber Strap.
This is a watch strap that does many things right, and very little (if any) wrong. And today, we discover what it is exactly that this watch strap does so well.

It looks good.
As always, first impressions matter, and that’s where we begin. The looks.
And oh boy, is it a looker. It’s an FKM Rubber watch strap, and I know what you’re thinking.
“It is just rubber, there is no way it can look mind-bogglingly beautiful.”
Think again. This is one of those symbols of perfection that you encounter in life, that re-defines what it means to be the best of its kind.
This FKM Rubber acts as a canvas for a mosaic pattern that quite frankly looks like art. Something that needs to be hung up on a wall, in a museum. The mosaic on this strap plays with the light, dancing whimsically, threatening to steal any amount of attention given to the watch it is on. Beware, when you wear this strap on your watch, the star of the show might not be that timepiece.
This enables your watch, regardless of the watch in question, to look far more premium than when it’s on any other, run-of-the-mill, utilitarian watch strap.
Now, colours. 12 different colours, ranging from neutral tones for formal wear, to fun, bright hues for your evening at the beach. Black, brown & navy for office. Turqoise, orange & yellow for your next trip to Maldives. You will find one that is going to match your vibes, and your watch.

It feels good.
Now that we have established that it looks good, does it feel good?
FKM Rubber is light, supple and pliable, offering comfort on wrist, while withstanding extreme heat and moisture, an especially important consideration for the tropical climate in which Nomad Watch Works sprouted from. Finished with an anti-static surface, you never have to worry about the struggles of getting dust and lint off your watch strap, you can simply just wash it away. Easy.
Along with its durability and hypoallergenic properties, FKM Rubber emerges as the ultimate fuss-free material for a watch strap that quite simply, just works.
Now I can’t go any further about how good the TrimFIT Mosaic feels on wrist, without talking about the TrimFIT Clasp, so here we go.

Now, the TrimFIT Clasp.
We all want clean looking buckles and clasps that don’t look like an organized mess of metal on the underside of our wrists.
The TrimFIT’s stainless steel clasp offers a clean and minimalistic look, also forming a continuous loop around your wrist, making it safer than a traditional pin buckle when you’re wearing and taking off your timepiece.
The leaf-spring mechanism of the clasp ensures a tactile, satisfying feel when you use it, so much so that it has now turned into my default fidget tool of choice, not that I would recommend you do the same, of course.
Unsurprisingly, we offer a lifetime warranty on these TrimFIT clasps.
And being paired with cut-to-size FKM Rubber, you never have to worry about long tail-ends of watch straps looking all unsightly, protruding out from the underside of your wrist, catching strays (as they say).
Clean, simple, functional. That’s all you need.
And you know what?
It will remain good.
It looks good and feels good today, but what about years from now?
With due care and maintenance, an FKM Rubber strap will last a very long time, maybe even a decade (by which time you should have gotten another strap from us, because we are probably going to launch something even better in the future).
FKM Rubber needs very little effort in order to keep it going strong. A little, gentle shower under the tap with mild hand-wash soap once or twice a month, some minor dusting off of the stainless steel clasp, and it’s always going to look as good as new (if we ignore the proverbial character-inducing scratch marks on the stainless steel hardware, that is).
So, is this the best strap ever?
Maybe. Possibly.
Conversations on the hypothetical “best strap ever” are never conclusive, quite simply because, we all have different watches, and different preferences. We have different requirements for what we want our watches and straps to do for us. Look good, and do nothing more? Just last forever, and never fail?
Watch straps are consumables, as you might have read on warranty specifications from your most recent watch purchase, but these consumables live on our wrists for a considerable period of time. We want them to look good, feel good, and last longer than your average young adult’s romantic relationship.
And as far as that is concerned, I think the TrimFIT Mosaic FKM Rubber does a pretty good job at it.
