Lizard Leather: Small Scale

Lizard Leather, a luxurious, exotic material prized for its flexibility, durability, and visually striking small-scale pattern. Often confused for ostrich leg leather, lizard skins feature fine rectangular and round scales that create a sophisticated and textured aesthetic.
The most common type of lizards used are monitor lizards, teju lizards, and iguanas, but we'll focus on monitor lizards as that's what we use here at Nomad Watch Works.
Characteristics of Lizard Leather
With a hide thickness ranging from 0.6mm to 1.2mm, this makes lizard leather extremely flexible. Despite its thinness, lizard remains resistant to wear and damage, allowing it to look new for many years to come.
With a distinct and uniform scale pattern ranging from 2mm circles to 5mm pills, this gives lizard its signature small scale appearance.
