There are 3 ways to identify the correct strap size for your Royal Oak Offshore:

1. Measure the Lug Width

Use a caliper or ruler to measure the width of the strap where it connects to the watch case. Because the Offshore uses a specific integrated fit, the strap size is determined by the total width at the attachment point:

• 28mm: The standard size for the classic 42mm Offshore models.
• 30mm: Typically found on the larger 43mm and 44mm Offshore models.

2. Match with Case Diameter

Royal Oak Offshore straps are engineered to correspond directly with the case size. Identifying your watch diameter will confirm which strap width you need:

• 42mm Case: Requires a 28mm strap.
• 43mm or 44mm Case: Requires a 30mm strap.

(Note: While some 44mm variants share the 30mm width, the internal plot design may vary; always ensure the strap is compatible with your specific generation.)

3. Check the Caseback Reference

The reference number engraved on your caseback is the most accurate way to ensure a perfect fit. Search this number online to confirm your lug width:

• Reference Examples: A 26470 or 26170 (42mm) will require the 28mm strap, while a 26400 or 26420 (44mm/43mm) will require the 30mm strap.

Always check your original paperwork or warranty card to verify the specific model number before selecting your size.

1. Use the correct tools
Most Royal Oak Offshore models use a screw-and-tube system to secure the strap to the plots (the metal links attached to the case). You will typically need two specialized 1.6mm screwdrivers—one to hold the screw head on one side and another to unscrew from the opposite side.

2. Unscrew the lug plots
Carefully insert the screwdrivers into both ends of the lug bar. While holding one side steady, rotate the other counter-clockwise to loosen the screw. Work on a soft microfiber mat to prevent the screwdriver from slipping and scratching the brushed or polished finish of the case.

3. Remove the strap and hardware
Once the screw is removed, push the metal tube through the strap and the plots to detach the current strap. Ensure you keep the metal inserts (tubes) and screws in a secure place, as these are essential for installing the new strap.

4. Install the new strap
Align the new strap with the case plots. Slide the metal tube through the lug holes and the strap, then insert the screw. Hold one side fixed with your screwdriver while tightening the other securely. Ensure the fit is snug but avoid over-tightening to prevent stripping the threads.

If you receive your strap and find that the size is incorrect, don't worry! You can exchange them for the correct size as long as they are in brand new unworn condition. (Shipping fees applies)
