I recently bought an FKM strap from Nomad Watch Works and I’m very pleased with it. The strap is comfortable, well-made, and excellent value for the price. Delivery was quick and hassle-free, and I noticed that the overall experience has improved a lot since my last order.

Rubber Lining Is A Must Have

Something to note about the leather straps which I didn't mention.

The lining underneath my leather strap are rubber.

And yes, it's a game-changer for me. From the moment I put it on, I noticed how much more comfortable it felt compared to my old straps. It molds to my wrist naturally, stays soft throughout the day, and never pinches or irritates, even after long wear.

It also gives me peace of mind when it comes to hygiene. Knowing that sweat and moisture aren’t damaging the leather makes it easy to wear without worry, and the strap stays looking and feeling fresh for much longer. For me, this small detail has made a huge difference in everyday wear, and I honestly can’t imagine going back to a strap without it.

Why Stop At One?

This is my second strap for the Dumont.

After seeing how much the first one I did improved the look and feel of the Santos-Dumont, I couldn’t resist trying another one. The dark, textured leather complements the black lacquer case perfectly, giving the watch a bolder, more refined presence on the wrist. It’s exactly the upgrade I was hoping for.

Overall, my first experience with Nomad was so positive that going for another strap felt like the natural next step. I’m very happy with how it turned out, and it’s made me appreciate my Cartier even more.
