MTO Crocodile Leather Strap in Navy (Semi-Glossy) for Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso

There are 2 ways to find the correct strap size for your Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso:

1. Use a digital caliper or ruler to measure the lug width (the space between the lugs where the strap attaches) or across the case (excluding the crown):

• 15mm or 16mm lug (~ 21 mm case wide) – Classic Small / Ladies model
• 17mm lug (~ 23 mm case wide) – Vintage Classique model
• 18mm lug (~ 24.4 mm case wide) – Classic Medium / Tribute Monoface
• 19mm lug (~ 25.5 mm case wide) – Grande Taille (GT) / Medium Duoface
• 20mm lug (~ 27.4 mm case wide) – Classic Large / Modern Tribute
• 22mm lug (~ 35 mm case wide) – Reverso Squadra / XL

2. Check the model number:
The case reference number is engraved on the case back (typically formatted like 270.8.62). Your warranty card, certificate, or purchase receipt will also list the model reference.

Examples of common case back references:

• 15mm / 16mm: 260.8.86, 252.8.86
• 17mm: 250.8.86, 250.8.08
• 18mm: 253.8.10, 212.8.62
• 19mm: 270.8.62, 271.8.61
• 20mm: 390.8.92, 395.8.4A
• 22mm: 701.8.47

(Note: Jaeger-LeCoultre retail boxes use a "Q" prefix like Q2788520, but the physical watch case back will only show the numbered format).

Because the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso spans decades of different references, changing the strap typically requires a standard spring bar tool, though newer models (and our custom straps) may feature a convenient quick-release system.

If your strap uses standard spring bars:

1. Insert the forked end of your spring bar tool into the narrow gap between the leather strap and the metal lug.
2. Catch the ridge of the spring bar, gently compress it inward, and slide the strap free. (Take extra care during this step, as the Reverso has notoriously tight clearance between the strap and the case!)
3. To install the new strap, insert one end of the spring bar into the lug hole, compress the other end with your tool, and carefully slide it into place until it clicks securely into the second hole.

If your strap uses a quick-release mechanism:
No tools are required. To swap the strap, simply slide the small metal lever on the back of the strap inward and gently guide the strap into or away from the case.

Final Check:
After installing your new strap, give it a light tug in different directions to ensure both ends of the spring bar are securely locked into the watch case.

If you receive your strap and find that the size is incorrect, don't worry! You can exchange them for the correct size as long as they are in brand new unworn condition. (Shipping fees applies)
