Strap Measurement Guide

There are two ways to find out the lug width of your watch.

  1. Firstly, you can Google "<watch brand and model> lug width" and see if there is an answer from the brand's website, or some other websites.
  2. Alternatively, you can simply take a ruler and measure the lug width directly on your watch.

Lug widths are typically in whole numbers, and while the most common lug widths are between 18-22mm, they can go down to 8mm or up to 32mm even. Our ready stock straps are available in 12mm,14mm,16mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm and 26mm. If you need other lug widths, you can have it custom made.

You will then need to purchase a strap with the same lug width. For example, if your watch has a lug width of 20mm, you will need a 20mm strap to fit your watch.

What is the width of my original buckle?

To measure the buckle width, use the same method as measuring the lug width. Simply measure the distance between the two ends of the buckle where it attaches to the strap. This ensures the buckle width matches the strap for a secure and proper fit. Use a ruler or caliper for precise measurement, typically in millimeters.

What if I realised I got the wrong size after ordering?

If you receive your strap and find that the size is incorrect, don't worry! You can exchange them for the correct size as long as they are in brand new unworn condition. (Shipping fees applies)

Great quality after more than a year!

Great quality strap that still holds up after almost 2 years, I would purchase more!

Leather is great but the fixed keeper is too closed to the buckle

The band has to be bent very sharply whenever you put on or remove the watch. My band started separating at the middle where it bends after just a few days of use.
Nomad was kind enough to send me a butterfly clasp and a replacement band so the experience wasn't all bad.

Amazing Strap - Highly Recommended

I've used other straps from more established overseas brands, but Nomad straps fair as well or even better than them. My green olive strap from them is going strong after almost 2 years, and this leather strap knocks it out of the park. Feels smooth and supple, with a great shade of brown. The thickness is just right - not too thick that it's clunky, but not so thin that it's flimsy. I've been looking for a compatible strap for my Seiko SNA411 (21mm lug width straps are hard to find), and this strap is an amazing fit. Will be getting more wears out of this watch all thanks for this strap. Highly recommended.
