MTO Crocodile Leather Strap in Grey (Semi-Glossy) for Frank Muller Casablanca

There are 2 ways to find the correct strap size for your Franck Muller Casablanca:

1. Use a digital caliper or ruler to measure the lug width (the space between the lugs where the strap attaches) or across the case (excluding the crown):

• 14mm lug (~ 25 mm case wide) – Small / Ladies model
• 18mm lug (~ 32 mm case wide) – Standard Men's model
• 19mm lug (~ 34 mm case wide) – Large model
• 22mm lug (~ 39.6 mm case wide) – Extra Large / Maxi model

2. Check the model number:
Because Franck Muller uses a highly distinct Tonneau (barrel-shaped) case, they categorize their sizes by specific 4-digit Reference Numbers. This number is engraved directly on the case back. Your warranty card, certificate, or purchase receipt will also list the model reference.

Examples of common case back references:

• 14mm: 1752, 2500, 7502
• 18mm: 5850
• 19mm: 6850
• 22mm: 8880

(Note: Franck Muller uses these 4-digit reference numbers specifically to denote the physical case size. The letters that follow them simply indicate the case material, like "SC" for stainless steel or "CC" for chronograph).

While the Franck Muller Casablanca features a highly unique barrel-shaped Cintrée Curvex case, it utilizes traditional straight lugs. Changing the original factory strap typically requires a standard spring bar tool, though newer aftermarket options (like our custom straps) feature a convenient quick-release system.

If your strap uses standard spring bars:

1. Insert the forked end of your spring bar tool into the narrow gap between the leather strap and the metal lug.
2. Catch the ridge of the spring bar, gently compress it inward, and slide the strap free. (Take extra care during this step to avoid scratching the Casablanca's highly polished case!)
3. To install the new strap, insert one end of the spring bar into the lug hole, compress the other end with your tool, and carefully slide it into place until it clicks securely into the second hole.

If your strap uses a quick-release mechanism:
No tools are required. To swap the strap, simply slide the small metal lever on the back of the strap inward and gently guide the strap into or away from the case.

Final Check:
After installing your new strap, give it a light tug in different directions to ensure both ends of the spring bar are securely locked into the watch case.

If you receive your strap and find that the size is incorrect, don't worry! You can exchange them for the correct size as long as they are in brand new unworn condition. (Shipping fees applies)
