Custom Watch Strap for Frank Muller Vanguard

There are 2 ways to find the case size of your Franck Muller Vanguard watch:

1. Measure directly
Use a caliper or ruler to measure the length of the case from top to bottom (lug to lug) and the width excluding the crown.
V32: 32 mm wide
V35: 35 mm wide
V41: 41 mm wide
V45: 45 mm wide

2. Check your paperwork
Your warranty card, certificate, or purchase receipt usually specifies the model reference (e.g., V32, V35, V41, or V45) and the case size. The model number is often engraved on the case back as well.

To measure the buckle width, use the same method as measuring the lug width. Simply measure the distance between the two ends of the buckle where it attaches to the strap. This ensures the buckle width matches the strap for a secure and proper fit. Use a ruler or caliper for precise measurement, typically in millimeters.

Franck Muller Vanguard watches typically have screws securing the strap to the case. To remove the strap and install a new one, you’ll need an appropriate screwdriver.

Recommended screwdriver size:
Flathead 1.4 mm precision watchmaker screwdriver
It is also recommend keeping 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm flathead screwdrivers on hand, as the screw slots can vary slightly depending on production tolerances.

Tips:
Always use a high-quality screwdriver with a hardened tip (such as Bergeon or Horotec) to avoid slipping or damaging the screw heads.

If the screws feel tight or stuck, apply gentle, steady pressure rather than forcing the tool, which can strip the slot or scratch the case.

Unfortunately, custom straps are made from scratch according to the specifications you provide. As a result, we are unable to change the size or issue a refund once the item has been crafted. This is a custom-made product. Upon receiving your order, we will commence sourcing and preparing the materials, after which our craftsmen will handcraft your item.
