Strap Measurement Guide

There are two ways to find out the lug width of your watch.

  1. Firstly, you can Google "<watch brand and model> lug width" and see if there is an answer from the brand's website, or some other websites.
  2. Alternatively, you can simply take a ruler and measure the lug width directly on your watch.

Lug widths are typically in whole numbers, and while the most common lug widths are between 18-22mm, they can go down to 8mm or up to 32mm even. Our ready stock straps are available in 16mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm and 26mm. If you need other lug widths, you can have it custom made.

You will then need to purchase a strap with the same lug width. For example, if your watch has a lug width of 20mm, you will need a 20mm strap to fit your watch.

What is the width of my original buckle?

To measure the buckle width, use the same method as measuring the lug width. Simply measure the distance between the two ends of the buckle where it attaches to the strap. This ensures the buckle width matches the strap for a secure and proper fit. Use a ruler or caliper for precise measurement, typically in millimeters.

What if I realised I got the wrong size after ordering?

If you receive your strap and find that the size is incorrect, don't worry! You can exchange them for the correct size as long as they are in brand new unworn condition. (Shipping fees applies)

Didn’t expect Christmas Eve was such a busy day at Nomad but I needed to change the strap for my wife’s birthday gift. I purchased a CTS for our new PRX Carbon. Despite a crowded shop, Tyler took his time to ensure the CTS fitted my wife’s wrist perfectly, after the 3rd cut… without rushing thru’ taking the straps off the watch. (I am very particular on ensuring straps changing do not scratch the watch). He was careful and patient. Thank you Tyler… my trusted watch strap guru! 🙌

Super easy to size and install. Looks and feels great on the wrist. my only complaint would be that shipping took very long.
