Classic Horween Chromexcel Leather Strap in Brown

This is my 3rd Nomad leather strap. The olive color looks great. The leather is soft and comfortable.

This is my 3rd strap from Nomad and they never fail to deliver an affordable, quality and classy looking leather strap. Was torn between the brown and black, in the end choose the latter but am sure both will look equally good on my Seagull 1963 chrono (was not a big fan of the white stitch on black leather strap that came with it).

Bought it for my Seiko 5 SSK035 as I felt it fit better with a leather strap. The full grain leather is plush and hugs around the wrist with minimal breaking in Required.

Overall very comfy watch strap!

However it's easily scratched as per the listing, so keep that in mind. I chipped off a small bit of the strap, revealing the natural tan leather beneath.

The strap color Burgundy is so rich looking and very classy. It fits my 7" wrist perfectly. It is already very pliable and is very comfortable.

The strap looks great. Bought it for my Kuoe Old Smith/90-02. I’d had a nylon strap on it for the past year and wasn’t wearing it as often as some of my other watches. The strap definitely elevates it and I look forward to seeing how it breaks in over time.

The dark brown Horween Leather strap exceeds my expectations in feel and workmanship. It is soft enough not to require much break-in period and the length wears well on my 6.75 inch wrist. I will definitely buy again!

Installed on Timex Marlin Chronograph. Absolutely gorgeous. The weathering can already be seen after 1 use and looks amazing.

Worth buying and good quality leather. Feel like premium quality

I knew I would love this strap, and I knew it would be better than any leather strap I’ve had in the past, but I still wasn’t fully prepared for how premium this band is. Is doesn’t matter if you wear it on an affordable watch, this band will make any watch look more expensive and premium. I literally enjoy it so much that I decided to order another one but in 20mm instead of 22mm so I can wear it with some of my other watches with 20mm lug width. I also got the brown so I’m excited to see it in person. These straps are super comfortable out of the box. Even though it’s straight out of the box, the leather is so compliant and soft (yet durable feeling) that it just conforms to your wrist so well even out of the box. With cheaper straps you have to break in the band on a watch pillow for a while before it’s comfortable to wear but this strap, you can really just wear it and break it in the old fashioned way. Again I love this product and these are my new favorite watch bands. I plan on getting one for my dad for Christmas too because he wears his Apple Watch on a leather strap.

This is my first purchase from Nomad and I’m really happy to have discovered it,the strap is really nice and comfortable and it’s not going to be my last purchase!

The quality of the Horween watch strap is excellent. Very soft and flexible, so little break in required. Quality buckle. Works nicely on my new Longines

I've purchased Horween straps before but this is the first time I've had the leather peel off upon pushing down the quick spring bar, I have a model I ordered a few years ago and I never had this problem. Quality of leather is still overall good and shipping is fast.

Excellent Horween leather, as expected, since this is not the first time I bought a Horween leather strap from Nomad. Listed as tan color; however, the color is more like dull brown (also called grey brown, pastel brown, brownish grey, dark taupe). Still good, it matches well with my field watch, almost khaki in appearance. Will probably try Nomad's pilot strap later.

Will be changing the buckle to a butterfly clasp, single wing, soon on as it arrives.

Very good quality strap. Great price for a Horween Chromexcel leather strap. You will be hard pressed to find a Horween Chromexcel strap at this price.
The strap breaks in very quickly. Mine broke in after one wear and is solid yet supple and conforms well to the wrist. Very comfortable!
Its matt finish makes it versatile and can be used in both dressy and more casual situations.
I like it so much I’m considering getting the brown strap as my next purchase!

The leather is a little stiff as it’s still new and that’s fine, but there were some dents in the strap when it came. Also quite disappointed that I need to punch a hole in the strap on my own as it’s too big (for ref, my wrist is 140mm). Nonetheless, a nice strap for more formal events.
